From Northeastern Connecticut via Route 6 Map & Directions

  • Head West on Route 6.
  • Drive approximately 17 miles and merge onto Route 6 West toward Hartford/Willimantic. This will be a divide highway.
  • Take next exit and turn left at the light.
  • At the next light turn left onto High Street.
  • Continue driving until you can’t drive any more. You will be at the intersection with Main Street.
  • Turn left onto Main Street.
  • WAIM will be on the right in a brown building.
  • Parking is located on Main Street or donations are accepted on Riverside Drive.

From the West via Route 6 Map & Directions

  • Head East on Route 6.
  • Take the Route 32 exit toward Stafford Springs and Willimantic.
  • At the light, turn right onto Route 32 East (Main Street).
  • Drive approximately 2 miles into the middle of Willimantic.
  • WAIM will be on the right in a brown building.
  • Parking is located on Main Street or donations are accepted on Riverside Drive.

From the Hartford and Points West via Interstate 84, Interstate 384, and Route 6 Map & Directions

  • Head East on Interstate 84.
  • Take Exit 59 (Interstate 384 East) toward Providence.
  • After approximately 8 miles, the divided highway turns into a regular road.
  • In Columbia, Route 6 East turns into a divide highway again.
  • Continue on Route 6 East
  • Take the first exit (Route 32) toward Stafford Springs and Willimantic.
  • At the light, turn right onto Route 32 East (Main Street).
  • Drive approximately 2 miles into the middle of Willimantic.
  • WAIM will be on the right in a brown building.
  • Parking is located on Main Street or donations are accepted on Riverside Drive.

From Northern and Southern Connecticut via Interstate 91 Map & Directions

  • Take Interstate 91 North or South to Hartford.
  • Take Interstate 84 East towards New London and East Hartford.
  • Head East on Interstate 84.
  • Take Exit 59 (Interstate 384 East) toward Providence.
  • After approximately 8 miles, the divided highway turns into a regular road.
  • In Columbia, Route 6 East turns into a divide highway again.
  • Continue on Route 6 East
  • Take the first exit (Route 32) toward Stafford Springs and Willimantic.
  • At the light, turn right onto Route 32 East (Main Street).
  • Drive approximately 2 miles into the middle of Willimantic.
  • WAIM will be on the right in a brown building.
  • Parking is located on Main Street or donations are accepted on Riverside Drive.

From Norwich via Route 32 and Interstate 395 North Map & Directions

  • Take Interstate 395 North to Exit 81W (Routes 2 West and 32 North) toward Hartford.
  • Take exit 25 to Route 32 North toward Willimantic and Franklin.
  • At the light, turn right onto Route 32 North.
  • Drive approximately 12 miles until you reach the “frog bridge.”
  • Turn right onto the bridge.
  • At the end of the bridge, turn left onto Main Street.
  • WAIM will be approximately 0.3 miles in a brown building on the left.
  • Parking is located on Main Street or donations are accepted on Riverside Drive.

From Norwich via Route 32 and Interstate 395 South Map & Directions

  • Take Interstate 395 North to Exit 81 (Route 32 South and 2 East) toward Norwich.
  • Merge onto Route 32 South and 2 East.
  • Take Exit 28N and merge onto Interstate 395 North toward Providence.
  • Take Exit 81W (Routes 2 West and 32 North) toward Hartford.
  • Take exit 25 to Route 32 North toward Willimantic and Franklin.
  • At the light, turn right onto Route 32 North.

Administrative Offices to the Donations Warehouse

  • Take Route 32 South (Main Street) toward Route 6.
  • At Bridge Street, turn left.
  • Right after turning, turn left again onto Riverside Drive.
  • The donations warehouse will be approximately 0.2 miles on the left.
