Back to School Clothes Program

bts-2nd-fundraiser-letter-2010The Back to School Clothes Program assists working poor and low-income families by providing them with a gift certificate to purchase clothing or shoes for their school aged children (grades K-8). The program is open beginning August 3, 5 and 6, 2010 between 9:00 A.M. and Noon. August 7 from 9:00 A.M. to Noon is only for families who work and cannot come in during the weekdays. This program is funded by generous donors and funders who have supported this program during the years.
2010 Coast to Coast Motorcycle Tour to Benefit WAIM

“Coast to Coast for WAIM” is a cross country motorcycle trip to benefit the Windham Area Interfaith Ministry located in Willimantic, CT. All proceeds will benefit WAIM’s many programs for the needy. David McChesney will be riding a Honda 750cc motorcycle from Storrs, CT on May 21, 2010 and will arrive in Vista, CA on June 11, 2010. Follow the ride on his blog on the WAIM website.
