November 24, 2024
Join us in our annual Walk for Warmth to help our neighbors stay safely housed and warm this winter. Rising energy and housing costs are making it harder for families in our community to afford basic needs. Funds raised during this event go directly to WAIM’s Private Energy Assistance program, supporting emergency payments for heating and utility bills. Let’s ensure that families can keep their homes warm, their showers hot, and their meals cooked this winter!
2024 Event Schedule:
- Interfaith Thanksgiving Service: 1:30 PM
- Walking Routes: 1-mile and 2-mile routes available
Registration Information:
- Online Registration: Strongly encouraged
- Day-of Registration: First Congregational Church, 199 Valley St., Willimantic, CT, from 12:30 – 2:15 PM
