WILLIMANTIC — To thank the community for its service and continue with its mission, David Foster, a longtime Willimantic resident, donated a truck to WAIM, an organization dedicated to helping neighbors in need.

A plaque was presented to David Foster to thank him for the truck he had donated through the Foster Family Foundation.

The truck given was a 2015 gas-powered Ford F-550, which will replace the diesel-powered 2011 Isuzu that WAIM previously had. Foster also gave the diesel truck about 11 years ago.
