WILLIMANTIC — While the demand for services at Windham Area Interfaith Ministry has tapered off since the pandemic more than three years ago, there is still a significant amount of need among people in the region.
Recently, the organization had a client come in who was behind on their mortgage after their spouse had gotten COVID-19 twice.
One upcoming fundraiser – the 32nd Steeple Chase this Saturday – is a major source of funding for WAIM, as well as the Windham Region No Freeze Project and Perception Programs.
