Volunteers are essential to the Windham Area Interfaith Ministry (WAIM) team. Your investment of time and energy enables WAIM to achieve our mission of uplifting and uniting our community by providing caring services and resources to meet our neighbors’ needs with dignity and respect. Your support is vital to our success!

Volunteer Positions

Being bilingual is a plus but not a requirement.

Adult Volunteers

  • Mentor a participant in the Partners in Independence (PIP) program
  • Help with event check-in
  • Sort, size, and hang clothing donations
  • Organize housewares
  • Coordinate volunteer schedules
  • Receive donations at the loading dock
  • Provide general office support

Youth Volunteers

  • Sort, size, and hang clothing donations
  • Organize and sort housewares
  • Accept donations at the loading dock
