What does the WAIM Adopt-A-Family Program do?

This program gives families in crisis an opportunity to joyfully celebrate the holidays through the love of a neighbor. The family receives the benefits of your generous gifts. Without special donors like you, these families would not have the chance for a holiday celebration. Each donor to family match is unique.  You provide a holiday meal and gifts for children and adults.

As a donor you decide:

The size of the family you wish to adopt

Direct delivery to the family or pure anonymity through WAIM

Who are the program recipients?

The families up for adoption are referred to WAIM through local social service providers. They are families who are in the midst of crisis – financial, emotional, spiritual and/or physical and needing a lift in spirit.  These neighbors are in true need of a little tender loving care and your generosity! Registration for donors begins October 1st.
